Basketball Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. North Stars

The Rosamond Roadrunners will challenge the North Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Rosamond sitting on eight straight wins and North on four.

Rosamond is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Kern Valley with a sharp 60-39 victory. The Roadrunners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Chowchilla 48-15. While fans of the Stars might be used to big wins, the 33-point margin marked the team's biggest one yet.

Rosamond's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.6 points over those games. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.
