Football Recap: Skyridge Comes Up Short

Skyridge and Lone Peak squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Skyridge had to settle for second. They fell 13-7 to the Knights. That makes it the first time this season the Falcons have let down their home crowd.

Kaneal Sweetwyne threw for 109 yards on 14 of 23 attempts. Talmage Oswald was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Skyridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lone Peak, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Skyridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lone Peak, they will face off against Corner Canyon at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
