Dublin is 10-0 against Livermore since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dublin Gaels will look to defend their home court against the Livermore Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Dublin will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Monday, Dublin rang in the new year with a 58-45 win over Mt. Diablo. Given the Gaels' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Red Devils are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livermore). They secured a 51-47 W over Arroyo on Monday.

Livermore found their leader in sophomore Sofia Mahmood, who posted 27 points. The dominant performance gave Mahmood a new career-high in points. Angie Bhatia was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Livermore has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Dublin, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Everything came up roses for Dublin against Livermore when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 77-10 win. Does Dublin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Livermore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
