Football Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Maranatha Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Harmon Hawks a 6-0 shutout. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 52-6 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian Academy will face off against Uniontown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harmon, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Atchison on Friday. The matchup will give the Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
