Ralston came out on top against Duchesne/Roncalli on Monday thanks in part to Makenzie Macrander's efforts. Macrander was dialed in as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She played a big game the last time she faced Duchesne/Roncalli back in September of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Macrander has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
