Football Recap: Clay County Panthers vs. Logan Wildcats

After flying high against South Harrison last Friday, Clay County came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 14-6 to the Logan Wildcats on Friday. The Panthers gained 151 more yards on the day, but it was the Wildcats that made the best use of them.

Joel Elliott and Jakoby Nichols certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Elliott picked up 184 receiving yards and one score, while Nichols picked up 102 receiving yards. Cooper Collins was another key player, having thrown for 362 yards and onetouchdown.

Even if they lost, Clay County's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Collin Elliott was especially locked on to Logan's QB and sacked him twice.
