Soccer Recap: Irvine Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Irvine came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-1 to the Corona del Mar Sea Kings. While losing is never fun, Irvine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 416th, while Corona del Mar are ranked 116th).

Irvine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Corona del Mar, their record now sits at 4-2-2.

Irvine will take on Century in a holiday battle at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Corona del Mar and Kennedy will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
