Softball Recap: Central Beats Thomasville for Their Third Straight Victory

Central proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Thomasville Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Central's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.

Coincidentally, Central and Thomasville will both be playing Northside the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Patriots at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
