Baseball Recap: Bishop O'Dowd Takes a Loss

Bishop O'Dowd came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Berkeley Yellowjackets, falling 8-1. The Dragons have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bishop O'Dowd saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Rittenberg, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Bishop O'Dowd's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Berkeley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4-1.

As of now, neither Bishop O'Dowd nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
