Baseball Game Preview: Leipsic Vikings vs. Arlington Red Devils

The Leipsic Vikings will challenge the Arlington Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leipsic will be strutting in after a victory while Arlington will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Leipsic turned things around against North Baltimore on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Vikings have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Pandora-Gilboa. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Leipsic's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Everything went Leipsic's way against Arlington in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Leipsic made off with a 21-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
