Softball Recap: Quinton Takes a Loss

Quinton fell victim to Soper and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Friday.

Quinton's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Soper, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Quinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Allen on the 23rd. As for Soper, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coleman at 7:15 p.m. on September 4.
