Football Game Preview: Rio Grande Ravens vs. Del Norte Knights

Rio Grande hasn't had much luck against Del Norte recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Ravens will welcome the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rio Grande's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Capital on Friday. They were outmatched by the Jaguars and fell 33-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Del Norte was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were beaten by Los Alamos 62-12. The Knights have struggled against the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rio Grande will have to keep a close watch on Keandre Wyatt and Markus Minter, a pair of players who had a big impact on Del Norte's prior game. Wyatt rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Minter picked up 94 receiving yards and one TD.

Rio Grande's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Del Norte, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-6.
