Softball Recap: Lanier Has No Trouble Against Greater Atlanta Christian + How To Watch

Lanier won the last time they faced Greater Atlanta Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Longhorns blew past the Spartans 14-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Lindsay Sisk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sisk was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Sophia Roche was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Sara Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Lanier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Lanier's record is now 8-10. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Lanier will square off against Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.76 runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will challenge White County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
