Baseball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Middletown lost to Goshen Central back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Middie Bears fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Middletown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Iacono, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Middletown's record is now 6-11. As for Goshen Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-11 record.

Looking ahead, Middletown will take on Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Goshen Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
