Baseball Game Preview: Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs vs. Bartlett Hawks

Bartlett will be up against a hot Riverside-Brookfield squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand Fenton an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Bartlett came out on top against Larkin on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Royals. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Josh Colaizzi, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Bartlett: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Engels, who earned three runs and one stolen base.

Bartlett's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Riverside-Brookfield, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
