Softball Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Long County Blue Tide, falling 12-4. The Redskins were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Tide from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Bryan County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Long County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan County will challenge Jenkins County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The War Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Long County, they will welcome Liberty County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blue Tide's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
