Soccer Game Preview: Lowndes vs. Pierce County

The Lowndes Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Pierce County Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lowndes is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Richmond Hill on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Vikings were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Pierce County entered their tilt with Cook on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Hornets 5-1. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by four goals or more this season.

Pierce County pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Lowndes, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
