Sterling took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sedgwick Cardinals 47-6. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Black Bears had established a 28-point advantage.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sterling will take on rival Moundridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sedgwick is set to face off against their familiar foe Trinity on Friday.
