Softball Recap: Turkey Valley's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Turkey Valley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Clayton-Ridge Eagles 11-2. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Turkey Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-18. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Clayton-Ridge, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Turkey Valley by a score of 6-3 later that day.
