Football Game Preview: Jefferson J-Hawks vs. Freeport Pretzels

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Freeport recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The J-Hawks will be playing at home against the Pretzels at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Jefferson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 27-12 win over Belvidere on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the J-Hawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Freeport played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-12 to Guilford. The loss continues a trend for the Pretzels in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Freeport now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.
