Mount Vernon had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Darlington Tigers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Mount Vernon, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Mount Vernon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Darlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
