Lamar Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS as they made off with a 14-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-0 on August 1st.

Kara Rayborn made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Rayborn was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Gracie Bennett was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Kinsley Stroud was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lamar Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Lamar Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Meridian HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar Christian will challenge Laurel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
