Basketball Game Preview: Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets vs. Imhotep Charter Panthers

The Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets will head out to face off against the Imhotep Charter Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Science Leadership Academy at Beeber sitting on eight straight victories and Imhotep Charter on 11.

Imhotep Charter better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Science Leadership Academy at Beeber really get things going. Science Leadership Academy at Beeber can attribute much of their success to Raegan Wells-Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds, and Taylor Haynes, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 boards. Wells-Bradley's afternoon made it 15 games in a row in which she has scored at least 20 points.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points over those games. As for Imhotep Charter, their record now sits at 16-5.
