After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Augusta Christian, Augusta E was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Gabe Hayes was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Luke Reese, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Augusta E's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, their record now sits at 2-8.

Augusta E will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
