Football Recap: Archbishop Carroll Wins High-Profile Game Against Bell

Archbishop Carroll faced Bell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 41-18 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Lions just coasted through the last quarter.

Tk Davis had a dynamite game, rushing for 194 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Avery Glass, who threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Archbishop Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.
