Providence Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Oglethorpe County Patriots with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Storm have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Providence Christian Academy pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oglethorpe County, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Providence Christian Academy beat the Patriots by a score of 15-0 later that day.
