Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 10-15 to make it four. They lost 6-0 to the Badin Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Big Blue have suffered since April 8th.

Hamilton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Moak, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Badin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games.

On Badin's side, Beau Chaney looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Chandler Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Hamilton and Badin are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Big Blue will challenge Elder at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Badin, they will square off against Talawanda at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
