Soccer Game Preview: Credo vs. Tomales

Credo is a perfect 10-0 against Tomales since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Gryphon will be playing at home against the Braves at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Credo is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Kelseyville, who was ranked second at the time (Credo was ranked seventh). The Gryphon came up short against the Knights on Wednesday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Tomales was forced to settle for a draw. They and Point Arena finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Tomales' goal came courtesy of Maya Graves, which was the first she's scored this season.

Credo's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. Tomales' draw gives them a new season record of 3-4-1.

Credo took their win against Tomales in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Gryphon repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
