McClatchy is 10-0 against Kennedy since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the McClatchy face off against the Kennedy at 6:30 p.m.

McClatchy is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 9. They and West Park finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: the Lions' Mya Alva and Arianna Dorton and the Panthers' Brianne Whiteside were all carded.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kennedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Cordova onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by three goals or more this season.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 3-2-4. McClatchy's draw gives them a new season record of 6-3-2.

McClatchy beat Kennedy 3-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for McClatchy since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
