Soccer Recap: South Fork Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, South Fork was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Arcata Tigers. While losing is never fun, South Fork can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Arcata are ranked ninth).

South Fork's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14-1. As for Arcata, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2-3.
