Soccer Recap: Redwood Gets the Win

Redwood won the last time they faced San Marin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Redwood Giants walked away with a 3-1 win over the San Marin Mustangs.

Redwood hit San Marin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Teagan McCormick, Sydney Middelton, and Sarah Farese.

Redwood's record is now 3-0-1. As for San Marin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Redwood and San Marin's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Redwood and Ann Sobrato (who has only given up 0.25 goals per game) will meet at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. Redwood's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so San Marin's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, San Marin and Branson (who has only given up 0.5 goals per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
