Football Recap: Carson White's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Iowa Colony over Randle + How To Watch

After flying high against Lee last Thursday, Iowa Colony came back down to earth. The Pioneers fell 49-42 to the Randle Lions on Thursday. The Pioneers were up 21 in the first, but they couldn't quite seal the deal.

Iowa Colony lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carson White, who rushed for 89 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 195 yards and a pair of TDs. Aaron Tenner was another key player, rushing for 194 yards while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.

Having lost for the first time this season, Iowa Colony fell to 4-1. As for Randle, their record is now 5-0.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Iowa Colony and Santa Fe will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 9. The Pioneers will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Randle, they will head out on the road to face off against Texas City at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
