Texas High School Football - Randle nudges Iowa Colony

September 25, 2025: Richmond, TX 77469

In Thursday's league battle, the host Randle Lions football team scored a tight 49-42 win over the Iowa Colony Pioneers.

With the win, Randle advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to play the Stingarees in a 5A-2 Region III District 9 battle on Friday, October 10. The Stingarees go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Texas City won 35-6 in their recent league battle against Lee (Baytown, TX)

The Pioneers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Fe for a 5A-2 Region III District 9 match on Thursday, October 9. Iowa Colony will confront a Indians squad coming off a 17-13 league win over Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.
