One of the most notable came from John Corrigan, who rushed for 33 yards and one TD, and also threw for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Corrigan a new career-high in passer rating (161.5). Bishop Carroll also got a significant boost from Cooper Herrman, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 132 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Bishop Carroll proved: they limited Heights to a paltry 1.2 yards per carry. The Golden Eagles' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.4.

Meanwhile, Kapaun Mt. Carmel took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-6 win over Southeast. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's record is now 5-0. As for Bishop Carroll, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Bishop Carroll took a serious blow against Kapaun Mt. Carmel in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 42-0. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
