Basketball Recap: George Washington Piles Up the Points Against Franklin Learning Center

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George Washington). They breezed past the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats to the tune of 56-29 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted since December 4, 2024.

George Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Celyne Vah, who posted 16 points. Vah is becoming a predictor of George Washington's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is 3-1 (and 3-5 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Elene Gagnidze, who had 13 points.

The win got George Washington back to even at 6-6. As for Franklin Learning Center, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

George Washington has already played their next contest, a 54-51 victory against Motivation on the 12th. Franklin Learning Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
