Ralston came out on top against Douglas County West on Saturday thanks in part to Makenzie Macrander's efforts. Macrander wasn't messing around, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Macrander and Ralston will challenge Malcolm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Macrander has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7.4 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Clippers have only allowed 4.14 per game this season.
