Football Game Recap: Crosby-Ironton vs. East Central

East Central had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-45 punch to the gut against Crosby-Ironton on Saturday. If East Central were hoping to take revenge for the 14-26 loss against Crosby-Ironton the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat started East Central out at 0-1 for the season. The win got Crosby-Ironton back to even at 1-1.

East Central will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Deer River at 7:00 PM. Crosby-Ironton are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Braham next week at 7:00 PM.
