Football Game Preview: Andover Huskies vs. East Ridge Raptors

The Andover Huskies will challenge the East Ridge Raptors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Andover has given up an average of 28.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Andover ended up a good deal behind Blaine and lost 35-21. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Joseph Mapson and Jameson Niska. Niska had a great game and rushed for 255 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Mapson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 120 yards and one score, while also throwing for 132 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, East Ridge lost to Woodbury on the road by a 23-7 margin on Wednesday.

Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for East Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
