Soccer Game Preview: Making Waves Academy vs. The Bay School

The Making Waves Academy Marlins will venture away from home to face off against The Bay School Breakers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Making Waves Academy is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Head-Royce, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, the Marlins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1068th, while the Jayhawks are ranked 254th).

Meanwhile, The Bay School didn't have quite enough to beat Drew on Thursday and fell 2-1.
