Softball Recap: Vidalia Comes Up Short

If Vidalia was feeling good fresh off their 18-1 takedown of Savannah Christian on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Swainsboro Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Vidalia has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season. As for Swainsboro, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-9.

As of now, neither Vidalia nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
