Basketball Recap: O'Farrell Charter Comes Up Short

O'Farrell Charter and Santana squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but O'Farrell Charter had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Santana Sultans 50-19. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Santana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaliyah Cruz, who posted 12 points along with five boards and four steals. Brynn Warren was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 19 rebounds.

O'Farrell Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Santana, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-6.

O'Farrell Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santana, they will face off against Del Lago Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santana's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Del Lago Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
