Basketball Recap: Central Mountain Wildcats vs. South Williamsport Mountaineers
While Central Mountain has struggled at home with six straight losses , that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Camdyn Weaver. The Wildcats walked away with a 40-33 victory over the South Williamsport Mountaineers with plenty of help from Weaver, who posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Central Mountain's points.
South Williamsport lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carly Quimby, who put up ten points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Moore, who scored 12 points and eight rebounds.
