Baseball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Chestatee War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Tuesday.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Chestatee, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

While Johnson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
