Soccer Recap: Mediapolis Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Mediapolis has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the West Burlington Falcons on Monday, falling 7-2. That's two games in a row now that Mediapolis have lost by exactly five goals.

Mediapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for West Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Mediapolis will challenge Hillcrest Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillcrest Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mediapolis surely won't give up without a fight. West Burlington has already played their next game (against Danville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
