Recap: Santa Clara Saints vs. Cajon Cowboys
This season hasn't been kind to the Santa Clara Saints, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They fell to Cajon 47-43.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssa Olmos, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Olmos scored a full 34.9% of Santa Clara's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miranda Williams, who scored 12 points.
Santa Clara's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Cajon, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Santa Clara is on the road again on Saturday and play against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 10:30 a.m. on November 25th. Cajon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on December 4th.
