Northeastern came out on top against Mechanicsburg on Friday thanks in part to Jacoby Newman's efforts. Newman made a splash, picking up 63 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in a pair of touchdowns on the ground. He played a big game the last time he faced Mechanicsburg back in October of 2024, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
