Soccer Game Preview: Nevada vs. North Polk

Nevada and North Polk are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cubs will take on the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Nevada will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Prairie City-Monroe on Tuesday. The Cubs were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Mustangs. That four goal margin sets a new team best for Nevada this season.

Meanwhile, North Polk hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Neither they nor Madrid could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. That draw made it four straight for North Polk.

With that draw, North Polk's record moves to 3-0-4. As for Nevada, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1.
