Softball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. South Forsyth War Eagles

The Duluth Wildcats are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the South Forsyth War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duluth will be strutting in after a victory while South Forsyth will be coming in after a defeat.

Duluth is headed out to face South Forsyth after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Duluth had just enough and edged out Dunwoody 4-3 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for Duluth as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, South Forsyth had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Lumpkin County by a score of 4-3.

Duluth might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from South Forsyth in their previous matchup back in October of 2020. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
