Jones County won the last time they faced Stockbridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greyhounds were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Greyhounds have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jones County's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stockbridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jones County is set to challenge their familiar foe Ola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Greyhounds 3, the Mustangs 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Stockbridge will face off against rival Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
