Softball Recap: Central Decatur Comes Up Short

Central Decatur's last matchup with Lenox could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Cardinals lost 10-4 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in May.

This is the second loss in a row for Central Decatur and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Lenox, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Central Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-0 defeat against Southeast Warren on the 17th. As for Lenox, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Wayne on the 17th.
